New Relic AI MCP Server is New Relic’s implementation of the Model Context Protocol. New Relic describes it as a centralized bridge for AI agents to connect to New Relic observability data and tools, and as an official MCP server for connecting AI development tools to New Relic observability data and workflows. New Relic announced it in public preview for integrating observability insights into MCP-compliant AI agents such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor. The tool reference says it provides specialized tools for AI agents to access and analyze observability data including NRQL, alerts, entities, dashboards, logs, and performance analytics.
