Discover is a directory of AI products and developer tools. Every entry is written from the product’s own website, checked, and approved by an editor before it is published. This page explains where products come from, how we check them, and the lists the directory started from.
Where products come from
Most of the directory started from five openly licensed lists of AI tools on GitHub, credited below. We took only the names and links from those lists and wrote every entry ourselves; no descriptions were copied. Products added later go through the same steps.
How an entry is written and checked
- A model drafts each entry using only text from the product’s official website: what it does, its features and uses, the platforms it runs on and its pricing.
- A second, independent model checks every claim in the draft against that same text and flags anything the text doesn’t support.
- Flagged drafts go to an editor, and publishing is always an editor’s decision.
- Each product page shows when its overview was last updated.
Logos
A product’s logo is the icon its own website declares or, for a project hosted on GitHub, the avatar of the account that owns the repository. We keep a copy and record where it came from.
Pricing
Pricing comes from the product’s official website, usually its pricing page. We show a plan, a price or a free allowance only when that site states it, and starting prices are in US dollars per month. “Pricing not verified” means we couldn’t confirm the pricing from the official site. Each product page shows when its pricing was checked. Prices change, so check the product’s own pricing page before you buy.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] with the product’s page and what has changed.
Credits
These lists were the directory’s starting point. We used only the names and links of the tools they list, read at the revisions linked here, and copied no descriptions or other text.
