Agenta

Open-source workspace for AI coworkers that take on team tasks, work with you in Slack or Telegram, run on schedules, and use your own model or AI subscription.

Autonomous agentsWorkflow automation

What it does

Agenta presents itself as an open-source workspace for agents it calls AI coworkers. You build one by chatting about the job, give it the tools and skills it needs, and then work with it in the web app or in Slack or Telegram. Pre-built templates cover areas such as engineering, customer support, sales, company knowledge and operations. Each coworker gets a browser and a file area so it can research and save finished work. A task done in chat can be put on a schedule with one more message, and triggers can start it when something happens in a connected tool; every run is logged. Tools connect over MCP, and the site cites more than 1,000 integrations. Permissions and approvals decide which actions run automatically and which wait for you, and credentials sit in a vault the coworker can use but not read. You can bring your own model, for example through an API key or Ollama, or use a ChatGPT subscription you already pay for. Agenta can be self-hosted under the MIT license with Docker Compose or Helm charts.
