Coding agentsCommand-line tools

What it does

AGX runs coding agents against your Jira or Linear tickets from a local workspace. An agent takes a ticket and produces a draft, you review it, and the pull request goes out with you remaining the author. The ticket, code, PR and review are kept together on one board. Agents pause for your explicit approve or reject before anything irreversible, and a reviewer agent gives pull requests a first pass. It works with Claude, Codex, Gemini and Ollama, and you can switch provider mid-thread. Work is checkpointed so a session can be picked up after closing the laptop, and agents can be grouped into teams by role. It comes as a command-line tool, a dashboard served locally and a macOS app, installed with npm, and keeps its state in a local SQLite database, so the README says code stays on your machine. Node.js 22.16 or newer and at least one provider CLI are needed. Anonymous usage telemetry is on by default.
