What it does
Aito is a database that answers prediction queries over your own data. A query describes what you know about a record, names the field to predict, and returns the likeliest values with a probability for each. The site says there is no model to train and that the system keeps learning from new data without retraining. The site aims it at high-volume routine decisions such as invoice GL coding, purchase order routing, ticket routing, recommendations, smart search, autofill and anomaly detection, and also presents it as a tool that LLM agents can call. It frames predictions and LLMs as complementary: predictions for volume and speed, an LLM for language and exceptions. You can run sample queries against a demo database without signing up, or run the engine locally from a Docker image that is free for development within row limits. The site also mentions a managed service and a production license, with prices on a separate pricing page.
Capabilities
- Prediction queries that return a confidence score with every result
- No model training: upload data and start querying
- SQL-like queries and an HTTP API
- Use cases for recommendations, smart search, classification, routing and anomaly detection
- Self-hosted Docker image using the same query API as the managed service
When to use it
- Automating routine coding and routing decisions, such as invoice GL codes or purchase order approvers
- Adding recommendations or smart search to a product
- Flagging unusual records by looking for low-confidence values
- Giving an AI agent a fast prediction tool that reports how sure it is
