What it does

Aurcue turns the photos you upload, along with your preferences and wardrobe, into style recommendations. You can begin with a full personal style consultation or pick one of 11 focused reports, among them personal color, makeup, nail design, outfit upgrades, hairstyles, glasses and seasonal streetwear guides. You answer a few context questions first and the photo is only requested at the last step. You see a preview of the analysis before deciding whether to unlock the full report. The site says reports are private by default and that the guidance is non-medical style advice. A virtual try-on lets you preview an outfit on a full-body photo, and a wardrobe feature keeps track of what you own. The service is offered in six languages and has an iOS app.
