What it does

BasedLabs is a site for creating images and videos with AI. Its homepage says signing up is free and that it brings together more than 50 AI models with no watermarks. Recent additions it highlights include Seedance 2.5 and WAN 2.7 Pro for video, Nano Banana Pro for images, and Seedream 5. Beyond text-to-image and text-to-video generation, the site lists a face swap app, an AI voice changer, an image upscaler, an AI skin enhancer, a video editor and a YouTube video editor. It also pitches a workflow of designing a character once and placing that character in new videos, aimed at virtual influencers, YouTube thumbnails, advertising and social content. When the page was captured, a banner said the site and database were under maintenance and that some temporary data loss was possible. Plan prices are not shown on the homepage.
