What it does

Beatoven.ai generates original background music from a description of what your content needs. The site names video, podcasts, games, short films, social media, audiobooks, advertisements and livestreams as typical uses, and says tracks can be created from multimodal prompts. Its music model is called Maestro. A companion tool, Text to SFX, creates sound effects from a prompt. The site also lists API offerings, named Music Intelligence and AI Music Search. Tracks download as MP3 or WAV, and you can pay per track or subscribe for additional download minutes. Each download comes with a non-exclusive perpetual licence that allows you to monetise your content, although Beatoven.ai stays the owner of the generated tracks. Direct distribution on streaming services such as Spotify is not allowed. The site says it is certified by Fairly Trained and that musicians who contribute music are compensated.
