What it does
Bigjpg is an image enlarger that uses deep convolutional neural networks for super-resolution. The site says it rebuilds lines, colors and fine detail instead of simply stretching pixels, and that it is made for artwork and photos. You choose an image type (artwork or photo), an upscaling factor of 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x, a noise reduction level from none to highest, and an output format of WebP, JPG or PNG. The free plan allows 20 pictures per month on a slow shared server, with a 5 MB upload limit and up to 4x enlargement. The paid plans listed are Basic at $6 for 2 months (500 pictures a month), Standard at $12 for 6 months (1,000 a month) and Premium at $22 for 12 months (2,000 a month). They add faster high-priority servers, uploads up to 50 MB, 16x enlargement, parallel enlarging and batch mode. Windows and Mac downloads, iOS and Android apps, and an API are listed in the navigation. The page also lists other tools from the site, including AI photo restoration and AI video enhancement.
