What it does

Browy is a browser agent packaged as an extension for Chrome, Edge and Brave. You give it a task in plain language and it reads and acts on the tab you point it at, working in your real browser profile with your existing logins. Every action streams back into the chat so you can watch what it does. There are two ways to talk to it: a side panel chat for everyday work such as form filling, scraping and multi-tab tasks, and a command-line style panel inside DevTools for keyboard-driven use. The agent reads a page as a numbered list of interactive elements taken from the accessibility tree. It can also inspect network requests, console logs, cookies and storage. Model calls go through the GitHub Copilot SDK, so Browy runs on the Copilot plan you already have, Copilot Free included, and you pick from the models that plan offers. Setup is three steps: add the extension, install a small native host on your machine, and sign in to Copilot. Shell, filesystem and script tools stay off until you switch them on one at a time. The project is open source under Apache-2.0 and is labelled early access (v0.1.x), so APIs, tools and on-disk formats may change between releases.
