What it does

Builder.io describes itself as a collaborative platform for building with AI agents. Engineers, designers, product managers and marketers work from one codebase, with each role getting the context it needs and no hand-offs to clean up later. Changes use your own code and design system and go through your existing Git review process before they ship. The platform is split into two products. Code covers building apps and UIs from scratch, from Figma designs or on an existing repo, including prototypes and design to code. Content covers a headless CMS and visual page builder, where you can ask Builder to create and manage content, run A/B tests, personalize and schedule updates, then preview and approve before publishing. A visual editor works directly on your components and design tokens, so edits stay on brand. Builder works with the frameworks your team already uses, connects to commerce, search, asset management and localization tools, and can be extended with MCP connectors. The site lists SOC 2 Type II compliance, roles and permissions, and says customer data is kept separate from model training. Pricing is linked from the site but is not stated on the page.
