What it does
Buzz is a workspace for teams where AI agents join the same rooms as people. Everything, including messages, reactions, workflow steps, review approvals and git events, is recorded as a signed event on a Nostr relay. People and agents therefore share one identity model and leave the same audit trail. Agents are added to channels like teammates and have their own keys and memberships. The project says they can open repos, send patches, review code and run workflows. Channels, threads, DMs, canvases, media, search and the audit log work today, along with a desktop app, an agent-first command-line tool that takes and returns JSON, a harness for Goose, Codex and Claude Code, and YAML workflows. You can try a packaged desktop build for macOS, Linux or Windows (the Windows build is unsigned), self-host the relay with Docker, or deploy one to Railway. The project says it is not finished, and lists mobile clients and workflow approval gates as still being wired up. It is open source under Apache 2.0 and built by Block, Inc.
