CC Switch

A desktop app, built with Tauri, for switching API providers and managing MCP servers, skills and prompts across AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI.

What it does

Each AI coding tool keeps its settings in a different format, so changing API provider usually means editing JSON, TOML, YAML or .env files by hand, and MCP servers, skills and prompts must be kept up to date in each tool on its own. CC Switch collects this into one desktop application where you pick a provider preset, enter your key and switch with one click. The README says switching replaces only the connection details, meaning the endpoint, key and model. Plugins, hooks, MCP entries and any comments you wrote yourself are left untouched. The tools named on the page include Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok Build, OpenCode, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Pi and MiniMax Code. The project is built with Tauri and released under the MIT licence, and the page points to ccswitch.io as the only official website. The README also lists many sponsors that sell API access. Those are separate services and not part of the app.
