What it does

GPT for Sheets, Docs, Forms and Slides is an add-on on the Google Workspace Marketplace that adds AI to Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms and Gmail. In Sheets it provides custom functions such as =GPT(), =GEMINI(), =CLAUDE(), =PERPLEXITY(), =GROK(), =DEEPSEEK(), =MISTRAL() and =OPENROUTER(), so a prompt can be applied to the contents of cells. The listing says a chat feature lets you ask questions about your data and edit it in natural language, with one-click undo for AI changes. Other functions cover live web search, web scraping, image generation and image analysis, SEO content, sending email, social posting, lead enrichment and a generic REST API call. The listing names more than 50 supported models from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter and Ollama. It claims 360 prompts per minute and bulk processing of 300,000+ rows. The listing says you can start free without an API key and add your own keys for unlimited usage. The Marketplace shows pricing as free of charge with paid features. The add-on asks for access to your Google account email and personal info, to the spreadsheets it is installed in, and to connect to an external service.
