What it does
CLIProxyAPI is a proxy server that presents OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Codex and Grok compatible API interfaces on top of CLI-based accounts. After signing in through OAuth flows, you can point any compatible client or SDK at it and reach the underlying models locally. It supports streaming, non-streaming and WebSocket responses where available, function calling and text-and-image input. Several accounts for the same provider can be balanced round-robin, and extra OpenAI-compatible upstream providers such as OpenRouter can be added through configuration. Accounts for Kimi, Meta Muse and Devin are covered as well. A reusable Go SDK lets you embed the proxy in your own program. Since v6.10.0 it no longer ships built-in usage statistics, so monitoring is left to separate community dashboards and desktop wrappers that the README lists.
