What it does
This plugin lets people who work in Claude Code call Codex without leaving that workflow. It wraps the Codex app server and uses the Codex CLI that is already installed and signed in on the machine, so existing Codex configuration, authentication and repository checkout all carry over. There are two review commands. /codex:review runs a read-only review of uncommitted changes or of a branch against a base. /codex:adversarial-review accepts extra focus text and questions design choices, trade-offs and risks such as race conditions or data loss. Neither changes any code. For delegation, /codex:rescue passes a task, such as investigating a bug or trying a fix, to a Codex subagent and can resume earlier threads. /codex:transfer turns the current Claude Code session into a Codex thread that can be continued with codex resume. /codex:status, /codex:result and /codex:cancel manage background jobs. An optional review gate has a Stop hook trigger a Codex review of what Claude produced, and the README warns that it can burn through usage limits quickly.
