What it does

Composio sits between an AI and the apps it needs to use. You connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or any agent that supports MCP, link apps such as Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub and HubSpot with a one-time sign-in, and the AI can then act in those apps from a plain request. It comes in two shapes. Composio For You is for people who want to connect an existing assistant without writing code. The developer platform offers SDKs, managed authentication (OAuth, API keys, token refresh), triggers, sessions and sandboxed execution for teams building their own agents, and works across models and frameworks. An MCP gateway and a CLI are also listed. To avoid filling the model's context with tool definitions, Composio searches its catalogue and loads only the actions a task needs. Custom MCP servers can be added for apps that are not in the catalogue. The site lists SOC 2 Type II compliance and an enterprise tier with SSO, governance and audit controls.
