CostGoat

A desktop menubar app that tracks spend, remaining credits and quotas across AI agents, LLM APIs, cloud services and SaaS subscriptions, keeping the data on your own machine.

Observability & evals

What it does

CostGoat is a desktop app that lives in the menubar and shows costs, credit balances and quotas from the services you connect. The site lists AI agent quotas (such as Claude Code and Codex), API credits, cloud usage and SaaS subscription renewals, with more than 75 integrations. You add API keys for each service and the app fetches figures directly from the providers. It can send desktop and email alerts before credits run low or spend spikes. The site says keys are stored in the operating system's secure storage, that there is no CostGoat cloud backend, and that cost and usage data never leaves your device. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. A 7-day free trial needs no sign-up or credit card, and paid licences are offered as yearly, lifetime and team options.
