Cursor

Coding agent with desktop and command-line interfaces that runs tasks in parallel, collaborates in Slack, reviews pull requests in GitHub, and lets you pick the model.

Coding agents

What it does

Cursor presents itself as a coding agent for building ambitious software, with desktop and command-line interfaces shown on its home page. Work is handed off as tasks, so you can focus on decisions while the agent does the building. Agents use their own computers to build, test and demo features end to end for you to review, and fleets of them can run in parallel on long tasks. The page shows a list of tasks being worked on at once across several repositories. Cursor runs in your terminal, collaborates in Slack and reviews pull requests in GitHub. The site also describes bots that sign in to your tools the way a person would and come back with finished work. You can choose the model for each task from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, SpaceXAI and Cursor, or leave it on Auto.
