Datadog

Cloud monitoring and security platform covering infrastructure, applications, logs and user experience, with Bits AI features that help investigate incidents and build agents.

Observability & evals

What it does

Datadog is a hosted platform that gathers metrics, traces, logs and security signals in one place. The product areas named on its site include infrastructure, network, container and serverless monitoring, application performance monitoring, log management, cloud and code security, real user and synthetic monitoring, CI visibility, and incident management. AI appears in two ways. Bits AI is the set of AI features inside Datadog, with parts called Bits Investigation, Bits Chat, Bits Agent Builder, Bits Code and Bits Security Analyst. A separate area for AI systems groups Agent Observability, an MCP Server, a Pup CLI and GPU Monitoring. The platform can be extended with OpenTelemetry support, integrations, IDE plugins and an API, and the site also points to a mobile app. Visitors can start with a free trial; the page links to a pricing page but does not state plan prices.
