DeepSource

Code review platform that checks pull requests with static analysis rules and an AI review agent, and adds secrets detection, dependency vulnerability scanning and coverage tracking.

Code review

What it does

DeepSource reviews code as it is written. On each pull request it leaves inline comments about bugs, anti-patterns and security problems, combining more than 5,000 deterministic rules with an AI review agent. The site also notes that DeepSource has joined Harness. Beyond comments, it offers pull request gates that can stop a merge when quality falls short, a report card that scores security, reliability, complexity, hygiene and coverage, and pre-generated patches it calls Autofix. The platform also covers secrets detection across 165+ providers, scanning of open-source dependencies using reachability and taint analysis, code coverage tracking, license checks, review of Terraform and CloudFormation, and compliance reports mapped to the OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25. Review results can be fed to coding agents through an MCP server, and a GraphQL API with webhooks connects it to other workflows. The vendor reports the highest F1 score on the OpenSSF CVE Benchmark and states SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance.
