What it does
Dorothy is a desktop app for running and supervising several AI command-line agents side by side. Each agent gets its own isolated terminal session and can be pointed at a different project. Per agent, you can choose skills and a model, watch live output and send input to a running agent. A Super Agent can create, start, stop and coordinate the other agents through MCP tools. Automations poll GitHub or JIRA, start a temporary agent for each new or updated item and post the result to Telegram, Slack or a GitHub comment. A Kanban board with backlog, planned, ongoing and done columns can assign tasks to agents by matching skills, and cron-based scheduled tasks run Claude Code unattended. Telegram and Slack can be used to check status and to start or stop agents from a phone. Other parts include a searchable document vault shared by all agents, usage tracking for Claude Code, and optional MCP integrations for Twitter/X data through the SocialData API and for Google Workspace. Setup needs Node.js 18 or newer and the Claude Code CLI, plus the GitHub CLI for GitHub automations. Several automation sources, such as Pipedrive, Twitter and RSS, are marked as planned.
