ejentum-mcp

Open-source MCP server that lets an AI agent retrieve structured reasoning, code, anti-deception and memory procedures before it responds, backed by the Ejentum API.

MCP servers

What it does

ejentum-mcp is an MCP server for the Ejentum API, aimed at complex, multi-step or multi-constraint tasks. Before generating, the agent calls one of eight tools to retrieve a cognitive operation, which pairs numbered procedure steps and a failure pattern to refuse with a reasoning topology and a self-check. Four tools are dynamic (reasoning, code, anti-deception and memory) and return the best-matching operation from a library of 679. Four adaptive tools return the same operation with its steps rewritten by an adapter model using task-specific terms. Adaptive mode adds roughly two to three seconds of latency and needs the Go or Super tier. It runs over stdio with npx for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex CLI, Claude Code, Cline and Continue, or through a hosted HTTP endpoint for n8n and other HTTP clients. Both routes use an Ejentum API key, and the local route needs Node.js 18 or newer. The wrapper is MIT licensed and states that it keeps no local logs or telemetry.

Capabilities

  • Eight tools across reasoning, code, anti-deception and memory
  • Library of 679 retrievable operations
  • Adaptive modes that rewrite steps with task-specific identifiers
  • Local stdio install through npx or a hosted HTTP endpoint
  • Works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex CLI and Claude Code
  • Stateless wrapper with no telemetry

When to use it

  • Your agent struggles with multi-step or multi-constraint tasks and you want a structured procedure before it answers
  • You want a self-check step aimed at problems such as sycophancy and hallucination
  • You need an MCP server that also works from n8n or other HTTP MCP clients
