What it does

Emdash Skills is a GitHub repository of reference documents, specialist agents and slash commands for AI coding tools. It is organised into 19 skill categories covering product briefs, planning, architecture, building, quality checks, deployment, branding, design, media, growth, document processing and authoring MCP servers. A router loads only the skills a task needs; for example, adding a feature loads architecture, build and quality skills, while fixing CI loads quality and deploy skills. The README describes a workflow in which a short prompt, even just a domain name, is turned into a deployed product. Separate agents handle architecture, parallel building, security review, visual checks, test writing and deploy verification, and each is assigned a model tier. Before a deploy, a set of gates must pass, including Playwright tests at six breakpoints, a Lighthouse accessibility score of at least 95 and zero axe-core violations. The default stack named in the README is Cloudflare Workers with Hono, Drizzle, D1 or Neon, Clerk, Stripe and Sentry. The rules are also provided in 32 variant formats for tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, Cline, Aider, Zed, Codex and Gemini CLI. It can be installed as a Claude Code plugin, with the gh skill command or from npm.

When to use it

  • You want an AI coding tool to follow one consistent process from brief to deployed web product
  • You build on Cloudflare Workers and want stack-specific guidance preloaded
  • You use several AI coding tools and want the same rules in each tool's format
