Writing assistants

What it does

Free Tegami Tools JP is a collection of more than 80 AI tools, in Japanese, for writing the kinds of messages that are hard to get right: wedding speeches, eulogies and condolence messages, New Year cards, thank-you letters, retirement farewells, celebration notes and business condolence or congratulatory emails. Each tool covers one occasion. You choose the tool, fill in the fields it shows, such as your relationship to the recipient, the situation and the points you want to make, and it generates a draft that follows the etiquette for that occasion. You then copy the draft and adjust it in your own words. The site says every tool is free and needs no registration or login, and that the output is only a draft: names, dates and personal episodes should be checked and edited by the user. Alongside the tools it publishes step-by-step guides for whole occasions, such as what to do after hearing of a death, and etiquette notes organised by who you are writing to.
