What it does

GoCodeo is an AI coding agent that works inside your IDE, with VS Code named as the supported editor. Its features are grouped into three modes called Build, Ask and Test, and the site gives a keyboard shortcut for Build and for Ask. Build mode generates code in a modular project setup and covers more than 25 frontend and backend frameworks. Agents connected through MCP can reach over 100 tools, and the site describes one-click or one-prompt setup for Supabase and Vercel deployment, plus AI-driven Git steps such as repo initialisation, commits and pull request creation. Ask mode is a chat companion that answers questions using code and image context, explains and documents code, runs an @Web search and suggests CLI commands and debugging steps. Test mode generates tests, gives AI insight into failures and lets you save reusable test cases, with Generate Tests and Run Tests actions in the IDE. The site says you can use LLMs including Claude Sonnet 3.7 and 3.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, DeepSeek-R1, GPT-4o and OpenAI o3-mini. Plan details sit on a separate pricing page.
