Google Sheets Formula Generator

A Better Sheets page that turns a plain-English task into a ready-to-paste Google Sheets formula, runs in the browser and gives two free generations without signup.

What it does

This is the AI formula generator on Better Sheets, a site of Google Sheets tools, templates and courses. You describe what the formula should do, optionally give a range, choose a comma or semicolon argument separator, and generate. The result is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into a cell. It runs in the browser with no extension, add-on or download. Common requests include SUMIF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, INDEX/MATCH, IF, ARRAYFORMULA and QUERY, and the page suggests putting the whole problem in one prompt to get multi-function formulas. Separate generators on the site cover QUERY, SPARKLINE, REGEXMATCH, REGEXREPLACE and conditional formatting, and an Apps Script Explainer adds plain-language comments to scripts without changing the code. The page also carries checklists for testing and debugging formulas, plus a formula directory of 500+ functions with video examples. Free use is limited to two generations per tool; membership removes the limit.
