What it does
Grok Build is SpaceXAI's terminal-based coding agent. The repository describes a full-screen interface that understands your codebase, edits files, runs shell commands, searches the web and manages long-running tasks. It can be used interactively, headlessly for scripting or CI, or embedded in editors through the Agent Client Protocol (ACP). Prebuilt binaries are published for macOS, Linux and Windows and installed with a one-line script, or you can build the Rust source with cargo. On first launch the tool opens a browser to authenticate. The user guide covers keyboard shortcuts, slash commands, configuration, theming, MCP servers, skills, plugins, hooks, headless mode and sandboxing, and full documentation is hosted online. The code is licensed under Apache-2.0 and is synced periodically from SpaceXAI's internal monorepo. The repository states that external contributions are not accepted.
