What it does
Hunyuan is Tencent's large model, which the product site says was developed in-house by Tencent. The site points to strengths in content writing, mathematical and logical reasoning, code generation and multi-turn conversation, and says the model keeps improving through continued training. Five core abilities are listed: multi-turn dialogue with context understanding and long-text memory; content creation such as literary writing, summaries and role play; logical reasoning over input data; knowledge enhancement for factual and time-sensitive questions; and multimodal text-to-image generation. The Hunyuan API supports an AI search plugin that draws on Tencent content sources such as WeChat official accounts and video accounts to answer questions about recent events.
