What it does
Jenni is a writing workspace for researchers. You import PDFs, bring in collections from Zotero or Mendeley, or search the 200M+ papers in its index, then write in an editor where AI autocomplete suggests sentences that link back to the page and paragraph of a source. The site says autocomplete can draw only from your own library. An AI chat answers questions across your whole library with cited answers and can filter responses by publication year, impact factor, citation count and preprint status. Inline citations come in more than 10,000 styles, including APA 7th, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE and Vancouver, and documents export to .docx, LaTeX or HTML. A Reviews feature checks each claim in a paper against your sources and flags issues across six categories, alongside proofreading. Real-time co-authoring supports comments, suggested edits, viewer and commenter roles, and version history.
