What it does
Kosmik is a visual workspace for gathering and arranging material on a canvas. Its users built research boards, visual libraries, creative explorations and team presentations with it. The latest version, Kosmik 3, keeps a built-in browser and adds auto-tagging and AI search. The site's wind-down notice says Kosmik would sunset on May 31st 2026, a date that has now passed. According to the notice, which mentions April 24th 2026, new sign-ups were already closed, but existing users could still download the Mac or Windows app and sign in to export their workspace and data. Subscribers were told they would receive an email about data export, subscription cancellation and refunds. The team says it is exploring options to continue its work on spatial interfaces and document-oriented systems.
