What it does
Mureka generates original songs from a text prompt. You set genre, mood, tempo and instrumentation, add lyrics written by its lyrics generator or imported from you, and choose vocals or an instrumental. The site lists pop, jazz, electronic, classical and more, and says most tracks generate in about 30 to 120 seconds. Beyond song creation, the menu covers video creation, studio tools and a library. A new Remix feature lets you remix vocals or instrumentals, and the Pro plan adds advanced editing such as region editing and melody extension. Mureka also generates speech, and the paid plans each list a monthly allowance of songs or minutes of speech. Downloads come as MP3, WAV and MP4, with stems on Pro, and the site states that downloaded tracks carry commercial rights. Pro also adds reference audio uploads, the option to use any voice, including humming, as the singer, and voice cloning for commercial projects.
