What it does
MySpec is a web app for spec-driven development. You describe an idea, answer a structured interview of roughly 5 to 15 questions covering scope, who it is for, user flows and edge cases, and it drafts a bundle of four markdown files: constitution.md, requirements.md, solution.md and tasks.md. Diagrams render live with Mermaid, and you can refine the files by chatting with it. The bundle is meant to be what your coding agent builds from. You can download it as a ZIP and drop it into a .specs folder for Cursor or Claude Code to use, or link your agent to the MySpec MCP server, which the site describes as giving access in both directions. The roadmap lists a hosted HTTP MCP server, personal API tokens for unattended use, public share links and custom skills. It also describes workflows for existing projects (brownfield) and a Spec Kit-compatible workflow for new ones. MySpec is in open beta. A free tier needs no credit card, and the site says pricing starts when the product reaches general availability.
