What it does
NaturalReader turns text, PDFs, Word documents, ePub files, images and web pages into spoken audio using AI voices. It is sold as separate apps and plans for personal reading, commercial voiceover work and education. The personal side adds AI tools that work on the document being read: podcast-style episodes made from long readings, summaries, analysis of screenshots, chat about a document and practice quizzes. Voices can be steered with a written prompt describing tone, emotion or accent, and a user can upload or record their own voice to create a custom multilingual voice. The commercial plan is aimed at voiceover audio for videos, eLearning, training, podcasts and ads. The education plan offers group and site licences, student and classroom management, a shared document library and accessibility features such as a dyslexia font and closed captions. Audio can be exported as MP3, and the mobile apps include a camera scanner and offline mode.
