What it does
Notion AI is the AI built into the Notion workspace. It works directly in pages, docs, tasks and databases, and can use context from the workspace and from connected apps when those are enabled. Notion Agent takes on multi-step jobs such as creating and editing pages and databases. Custom Agents run on a trigger or schedule, so recurring work like answering questions in Slack, routing tasks or sharing project updates can continue without anyone present. Enterprise Search looks across connected tools such as Slack, Google Drive and GitHub, and the site labels it beta. The site also lists AI Meeting Notes that transcribe and summarize conversations without a meeting bot, a Research Mode for detailed reports, AI blocks for drafting and improving text, and Autofill for database properties. For teams, the page describes moving a workflow to another model or provider, permission controls over what the AI can see and do, usage dashboards, and contractual terms that stop AI subprocessors from training on customer data.
