What it does
OpenConnector is an open-source connector gateway for AI agents. Users connect their app accounts once, and the gateway exposes a shared catalogue of 1,000+ providers and 10,000+ prebuilt Actions to agents and applications. The page names GitHub, Gmail, Notion, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Supabase, Airtable and Slack among its examples. Agents reach it through a TypeScript SDK, the oo CLI as a local relay, an MCP endpoint, plain HTTP, or a generated OpenAPI document. A web console covers browsing connectors, setting up credentials, creating runtime tokens and debugging actions. Provider secrets stay behind the runtime boundary, and agents receive metadata, safe account labels and results. Runtime controls include scopes, action allow and block policies and redacted run logs. You can run it yourself with Docker or Node.js using SQLite or PostgreSQL, in Kubernetes with a Helm chart, or on platforms such as Cloudflare and Fly.io. The page also describes a hosted runtime from OOMOL with managed OAuth. When self-hosting, you register your own OAuth apps with each provider.
