Orca

Open-source desktop app for running several coding agents in parallel, each in its own git worktree, with terminals, diffs, a built-in browser and a CLI in one window.

What it does

Orca is an agent development environment built around running many coding agents at once. Each task gets its own isolated git worktree, so agents work side by side without stashing or juggling branches, and you can send one prompt to several agents, compare the results and merge the best one. It does not ship its own agent. You bring the command-line agents and subscriptions you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode. The site lists 27 supported agents and says any other CLI agent can be added. Around them sit split terminals, diffs where you can leave comments for the agent, an embedded browser with a design mode, GitHub and Linear task views, and worktrees on remote machines over SSH. Orca runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and a companion mobile app for iOS and Android shows live agent status and usage. It is free and open source under the MIT license.

Capabilities

  • GitHub and Linear tasks and pull requests inside the app
  • SSH worktrees for running agents on a remote machine
  • Mobile companion app for iOS and Android

When to use it

  • Running several agent sessions on one repository without them interfering with each other
