What it does
PinkCode is a desktop interface for the Grok Build command-line agent. It connects to grok over the Agent Client Protocol (ACP) through stdio and leaves the agent loop to Grok itself, so it adds a visual workspace rather than a separate agent. A task board lets you run several Grok Build sessions side by side. You can create, switch, prompt and stop each one independently and follow it in a live timeline of messages, thoughts, tool calls, shell output, plans and subagent cards. A usage view shows weekly Grok credit usage by product, a seven-day token series and live token and cost figures for the turn in progress. Around that sit file-change review, a project browser with Git staging, per-hunk stage and unstage, diffs and commits, a Normal, Plan, Auto and Always-approve mode cycle, mid-task model switching, and permission settings from ask-every-time to bypass. The Grok Build CLI must be installed first. Installers are listed for Windows and macOS, Linux builds from source, and the app is built with Tauri, React and Rust under the Apache-2.0 license.
