What it does
The generator on the Punch Needle Israel site turns an image or an idea into a punch-needle map that sets out the yarns, the colors and the order to work in. The site shows recent designs next to the plain-language requests behind them, such as a mushroom with flowers sized to a quarter of a page, and says more than 2,400 patterns have been generated. The same site is run by a studio in Ramat HaSharon, Israel, and also offers hands-on punch-needle workshops (private, family, birthday and team formats), kits and a gallery of designs. The site is available in English and Hebrew, and has a sign-in. The page does not state pricing or export formats.
