Qovery Deploy Skill

Collection of agent skills that lets AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and OpenCode deploy, troubleshoot and optimize applications on Kubernetes through Qovery.

Coding agentsWorkflow automation

What it does

Qovery Skills is a GitHub repository of agent skills, written for the SKILL.md format, that let an AI coding tool work with the Qovery platform for running applications on Kubernetes. The deploy skill analyzes a codebase to detect its language, framework, ports, database needs and environment variables, creates a Dockerfile if one is missing, and deploys through the Qovery CLI and API or through Terraform. The deploy skill can also provision databases, set up environment variables, secrets, health checks and deployment stages, handle Helm charts and cron jobs, and watch a deployment to diagnose and fix failures such as build errors, port mismatches and out-of-memory problems. The same repository holds sibling skills for onboarding, troubleshooting, cost optimization, faster deployments, preview environments, Terraform export, policy tokens, sign-up and read-only assessments. A single install command places the skills for tools that follow the Agent Skills standard, and the page lists Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, VS Code Copilot and Gemini CLI among more than 30 compatible tools. Before deploying you need a Qovery account, an API token, a Kubernetes cluster on AWS, GCP, Azure or Scaleway (the skill can help create one) and a connected git repository.

Capabilities

  • Analyzes a codebase and creates a Dockerfile when one is missing
  • Deploys through the Qovery CLI and API or through Terraform
  • Provisions databases and configures environment variables, secrets and health checks
  • Watches deployments and auto-fixes common failures
  • Companion skills for troubleshooting, cost optimization and preview environments
  • One-command install across 30+ compatible AI coding tools

When to use it

  • Deploying an application to Kubernetes from inside an AI coding tool
  • Diagnosing a failing Qovery deployment with an agent's help
  • Teams already on Qovery that want agent-driven cost reviews or PR preview environments
