What it does

Recall is an AI knowledge base. You save content such as YouTube videos, podcasts, PDFs, articles, Wikipedia pages, TikToks, recipes and your own notes. It organizes the material with tags that improve over time, summarizes it, and connects related ideas in a knowledge graph. Summaries can be read or listened to in a voice you can clone. You can chat with your saved knowledge using models such as GPT, Claude and Gemini, and ask the web and your own knowledge together. Automated quizzes follow a spaced repetition schedule to help you remember what you saved. Recall is available as browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox and as apps for iOS and Android. The site says augmented browsing is local first, the knowledge base is stored in the cloud, your data is used only to provide the service, and everything can be exported in Markdown.
