Relay

Open-source set of slash-command skills for Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI that keeps issues, plans, reviews and decisions in a .relay/ folder so work carries over between AI sessions.

What it does

Relay is a structured workflow for building software with AI coding command-line tools. It creates a .relay/ directory in your project that holds issues, feature designs, plans, reviews and archived resolutions as markdown, so the history lives in files rather than in any one chat or model. The workflow is delivered as 21 skills run as /relay-* commands. They cover scanning a codebase for bugs, gaps and dead code, brainstorming and designing features, ordering the backlog by dependency and severity, then analyzing, planning, reviewing, implementing, verifying and resolving each item. An auto mode can walk the pipeline across items with one isolated agent per item. Because the files are shared, you can start in one tool and continue in another; the README names Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI and Google Gemini CLI. Setup is an npx install followed by /relay-setup inside your AI CLI. The repository page shows an MIT licence and no pricing.
