What it does
Rember generates flashcards from what you want to remember. In its AI canvas you type a concept, name a book, paste text, or drop in URLs and YouTube videos, and it writes cards that follow practices from the spaced repetition community: atomic, unambiguous questions that test understanding rather than yes/no recall. Custom instructions let you control how cards are phrased and formatted, and manual card creation is also supported. Cards are reviewed in Rember, which uses the FSRS scheduling algorithm and lets you pause, snooze or undo reviews, or sent to Anki through an add-on. That sync is one-way, and review data does not carry over. Rember MCP lets Claude Desktop and other MCP chat apps create cards directly, for example from a PDF or from a conversation. Rember is currently a progressive web app that works offline and syncs across desktop and mobile, with cards grouped into decks. The FAQ says the Free plan allows AI card generation for up to 30 notes a month, and Pro is $8 a month for up to 1,000 notes plus priority support. The page's call to action is to join a waitlist or book a call.
