What it does

Riverside covers the path from recording to publishing for podcasts, interviews, webinars, live streams and video marketing. Recording happens locally for up to 4K video and uncompressed audio, saved as separate tracks per speaker so the result does not depend on the internet connection. Editing uses a text-based editor where you search, cut, copy and paste in the transcript, plus multi-track editing, saved branding and animated captions. The AI tools include sound clean-up and noise removal, removal of filler words and silences, eye-contact correction, B-roll generated from a prompt, automatic layouts that follow the speaker, and translation and dubbing into more than 30 languages. A speech-correction feature lets you fix a line in the transcript while AI syncs voice and lips. One recording can become clips, posts, thumbnails, headlines, transcripts and show notes. Podcast hosting publishes to Spotify, Apple and YouTube with built-in analytics. Livestreams and webinars go out in HD to several destinations at once, with registration, email reminders and a HubSpot sync. The site offers a free plan with no credit card needed, a business offering with a demo and priority support, and apps for Mac, iOS and Android. Paid plan prices are not on this page.
