SaneBox

Email service that sorts incoming mail by importance into folders, with one-click sender removal, a digest of low-priority messages, snoozing and follow-up reminders. Works with major email providers.

Email

What it does

SaneBox sits alongside your existing email account and uses machine learning to sort incoming messages into folders by importance, so less important mail stays out of the main inbox. The site says it looks only at basics such as sender, subject line and date, and that it never stores full emails or attachments. Among its tools are BlackHole, which removes a sender from your inbox permanently, a Daily Digest summarising unopened low-priority messages, Snooze to hold an email until a later time, and reminders when someone has not replied to your message by a chosen time. It also offers one-click unsubscribing. It works with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, Yahoo! Mail and Fastmail, as well as any IMAP, Microsoft Exchange or ActiveSync server, and the site says there is nothing to download. Access is granted over OAuth and can be revoked at any time. The site claims users spend three to four hours less per week on email.
