What it does
Sinatra is an autonomous coding agent for teams that track work in Linear, GitHub or Slack. You assign a Linear ticket, add a label to a GitHub issue, mention it in a Slack thread, or start a task from the command line, or from Claude Code, Cursor, claude.ai or ChatGPT over MCP. It reads the repository, writes the change and opens a draft pull request. Each task runs in its own short-lived sandbox. Sinatra runs the test command you configure, tries to fix failures, reviews its own diff against the ticket and replies in the pull request's review threads when changes are requested. Per-repository settings such as the test command, model and reasoning effort live in a committed .sinatrarc.json file. Merging and deploying stay with you; the site says Sinatra does not merge or deploy. Sinatra does not bill for model usage. You connect your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription, or an Anthropic or OpenRouter API key, and pay that provider directly. The service itself is a flat monthly price per workspace, with the plan setting how many tasks run at once.
