What it does

StoryRoute shows AI-generated stories about the history and people of the places around you. After you allow location access, it opens a map and lists stories for nearby landmarks, which it can read aloud. You can plan a route and start a tour for walking, a short drive or a long drive, or switch to the Stories view while you are out. Settings let you choose the voice, speed and language, filter landmark types, save favourites and share stories. A chat called Ask StoryRoute answers questions, and the page says it is powered by Groq. A free plan gives a daily set of free stories. The Pro upgrade is shown as a one-off 3.99 euro launch offer for lifetime access, adding unlimited stories every day, all travel modes, favourites saved forever and Pro across all devices.
