What it does
Suno creates complete songs from a description. You enter a genre, mood, theme or your own lyrics, and it builds a track with vocals, instrumentation and production, which you can regenerate, extend or refine. The site lists v6 as its newest model and says no music experience is needed. Beyond generation, the site lists Suno Studio, a browser-based DAW for arranging, editing and mixing; Voices, which takes a few seconds of your recorded voice so it can sing what you write; stem separation; remix tools; custom models trained on your own recordings; and a music library to browse by genre, mood and occasion. Controls include style and weirdness sliders, exclusions and vocal gender. Suno is available on the web and as iPhone and Android apps. The free tier allows up to 10 songs a day with no credit card, and the paid plans raise the limits. The site says songs created as a paid subscriber can be used commercially, for example as background music in videos or in a published album.
