What it does

Superagent is a desktop app for Apple Silicon Macs that acts as a workspace around a coding agent you already use. It works with Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity, and you can switch between them per chat. The app has no AI of its own, no API key to paste and no middleman server: it runs on your existing agent subscription. Every project pairs a conversation with the thing being built. The agent can drive a real browser pane using your own logged-in sessions, and it can use an iOS Simulator streamed into the window to build, tap, type and screenshot an app. Each new chat starts from its own isolated copy of the project, cut on a separate branch, so conversations do not collide, and a per-project board and a pinned to-do plan track the work. A companion iPhone app, paired with end-to-end encryption through a relay that stores nothing, lets you follow the conversation and answer the agent's questions away from your desk. Routines run requests on a timer, and a loop mode lets the agent pace repeated rounds itself. An optional computer-use setting, off by default and described as a beta, lets an agent operate other Mac apps after asking permission. The source is MIT licensed, with separate repositories for the desktop app, the iOS companion and the relay. The page says it needs Claude Code installed and signed in, and Xcode only if you want the simulator.
