What it does
TubePrompter analyzes a public YouTube video or Shorts URL and returns timestamped scenes with notes on the subject, environment, camera angle, lighting mood and colour palette. Each scene comes with start and end frame image prompts that you can copy and edit. The result is a written description of what is visible, not a recovered original prompt. The site warns that inferred camera or lighting details can be wrong, so the notes should be checked against the reference clip. Motion directions, duration and aspect ratio are added by you in the tool you use to generate the finished video; TubePrompter does not render video. It currently accepts YouTube video and Shorts links only. Direct Instagram or TikTok links and local uploads are not supported. An account is required, and the free plan covers the first 60 seconds of a video and up to 3 scenes per analysis.
